Cyprus has a temperate climate, typical of the Mediterranean region. The summers are hot and dry, while the winters are mild and wet. The temperature in summer usually ranges from 30 to 40 degrees Celsius, although it can sometimes exceed 45 degrees. In winter, the temperature usually ranges from 10 to 20 degrees Celsius. Snow is possible in the Troodos Mountains but it does not often occur in the lowlands. The best time to visit Cyprus is during the spring or autumn when the temperatures are milder. However, if you're looking for some sun then the summer is definitely your best bet!
